Purpose
Perform all aspects of underground development.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but not limited to mobile and non-mobile: 

• Must be able to operate jackleg and stoper 
• Must be able and willing to acquire appropriate Licenses and Training for: mechanized cut and fill mining and mechanized development.  
• Must be able to operate as a lead 6yd operator (lead mucker) and dispatch other 6yd and trucks accordingly 
• Moving jumbo, scissorlifts, bolters 
• Must be able to read and understand mine plans 
• Must be able to load development rounds 
• Responsible for installation or removal of services in headings (Air, water, vent). 
• Other duties as assigned by the Frontline Supervisor.

Training and Education

• High School Diploma 
• Underground Common Core Certificate 
• Some specialty modules required for the job
