Discovery is offering a range of summer student positions for motivated individuals who want to learn from industry professionals, develop new skills, and contribute to meaningful projects in a dynamic work environment.

  • Mining Engineering
  • Geology / Geotechnical
  • Environmental Science
  • Metallurgy / Mineral Processing
  • Trades: Maintenance / Mechanical / Electrical
  • Health & Safety
  • Human Resources / Administration
  • Supply Chain / Warehouse
  • Finance / Accounting
  • IT / Data Management
  • Operations

What You’ll Do:

  • Work alongside experienced professionals on active mine sites or office projects

  • Participate in fieldwork, data collection, analysis, and reporting

  • Support ongoing projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

  • Gain exposure to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence practices in mining

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a recognized college or university program. Proof of Fall term enrollment will be required
  • Returning to full-time studies after the summer work term (September 2026)
  • Valid "G" driver's license may be required for some roles
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety and a positive attitude toward learning
