Discovery Kidd has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Technologist.

The Position:

Reporting to a Mine Operations Superintendent, the Operations Technologist will be required to complete tasks to ensure the efficient management of key projects within the mine operations department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate cost reporting for mine operations projects.
• Planning and ordering for key components and tasks within operation projects.
• Developing and maintaining operational technology improvements.
• Technical and operational support for various underground mining processes
• Contractor contact and management duties.
• Lead and support various process improvement projects within operational team
• Promote health, safety, environment and community objectives for employees and contractors.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Mine Engineering Technician or Technologist Diploma.
• 2 years Mine Operations Experience.
• Strong computer and technology skillset, experience with coding considered an asset
• Experience with managing projects and contractor management

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive total compensation package including:

• Company contributions and matching into a Defined Contribution Pension Plan; and
• Annual compensation of CAD$63,000 to CAD$80,000.
