Purpose
Reporting to the Exploration Manager, the Exploration Field Supervisor is an integral member of the Exploration team, supporting the coordination and execution of field activities. Working closely with Project Geologists and drill contractors, the field technician helps ensure that drilling programs are carried out safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include assisting with routine audits and inspections of surface and underground drill rigs, and contributing to clear communication across teams. This role requires a strong team-oriented mindset, a commitment to safety, and a focus on maintaining high standards of operational and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Exploration team to support the safe, efficient, and productive operation of diamond drill rigs in both surface and underground environments.
• Carry out exploration field logistics tasks while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational efficiency
• Assist in drill hole spotting and assess water sources to support surface exploration drilling activities
• Serve as a liaison between the exploration team and drilling contractors to ensure clear communication, adherence to safety protocols, and the successful execution of drilling programs
• Conduct routine audits and inspections of surface and underground drill rigs to ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and quality control measures

Training and Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
•  Health and Safety related training is preferred
• Past experience working in a field logistics role with supervisory experience
• Past experience working with diamond drills in a surface and/or underground setting
• Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
• Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Industry-standard training in First-Aid, and WHMIS.
