Purpose

Perform all aspects of underground development.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to mobile and non-mobile: 

• Must be able to perform all aspects of mechanized cut and fill stoping, jumbo ramp development, and lateral development.  
• Other work as assigned by supervisor  
• Must be able to plan ahead and setup the workplace in a safe and productive fashion  
• Must be able to mentor a crew in their work areas to work safely and productively  
• Must be able to oversee one or multiple headings  
• Must be able to operate and follow Moss Survey System 
• Must be able to read, understand and follow prints  
• Must be able to operate on their own or be a leader with a partner  
• Must be able to operate, 1 and 2 boom jumbo, small and large section mechanized bolter, fletcher bolter will be an asset.
