Discovery Silver Corp. has an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Analyst.

The Position:
Reporting to the Vice President, Treasury, the Treasury Analyst will support the global treasury function by assisting with cash management, metal sales, liquidity planning, foreign exchange risk mitigation, insurance and other treasury operations. This role will support efficient treasury processes, compliance with internal controls, and optimization of the Company’s financial resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily cash positions and prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and strategic initiatives;
- Assist in managing global cash consolidation and payment processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution;
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly;
- Support the implementation and maintenance of treasury processes ensuring compliance with internal controls and segregation of duties;
- Prepare and maintain documentation for banking arrangements, debt and equity instruments, and covenant compliance;
- Assist in managing banking relationships, including account openings, fee analysis, and compliance with internal policies;
- Assist in developing and executing foreign exchange risk mitigation strategies;
- Support hedging activities as needed and ensure compliance with internal risk management policies;
- Monitor exposure to currency fluctuations and prepare reports for management review;
- Provide analytical support for precious metals and concentrate sales, including pricing, settlement, logistics and revenue tracking;
- Prepare regular treasury reports, including cash flow forecasts, precious metal sales, liquidity analysis, and risk exposure summaries for senior management;
- Assist in the process of obtaining and managing letters of credit and surety bonds
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes by providing treasury-related inputs and analysis;
- Provide administrative support for the corporate insurance program and the Company’s pension plan, including policy documentation and renewal tracking; and
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned .
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field;
- 3–5 years of related experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking; experience in the mining industry is an asset;
- CPA or CFA designation;
- Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity planning, and foreign exchange risk management;
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel and other tools;
- Strong Analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and ability to collaborate cross functionally;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; and
- Self starter with a willingness to take on increasing responsibilities and the ability to work under pressure.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive total compensation package including:

- Company contributions and matching into a Defined Contribution Pension Plan; and
- Annual total compensation of CAD$90,000 to CAD$130,000 (including annual bonus eligibility).
Workplace Conditions:
- Corporate head office, located in Toronto, Ontario with occasional travel (Timmins and abroad); and
- Attention to work issues in the evening or on the weekend.
